Britt O. Schmidt is the Chief Executive Officer of Tri-Point. Prior to co-founding Tri-Point, Britt was President of the Engineered & Process Valves Division of Cameron International Corporation. He began his career with Cameron in the Corporate office as Project Marketing Manager. Since then, he has held positions as Product Manager, Plant Manager, General Manager, Director of Operations, President of Flow Control, and Vice-President and General Manager of Operations, Projects and Aftermarket for Subsea Systems. Britt holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Chief Financial Officer & Co-Founder
J. David Lucke is the Chief Financial Officer of Tri-Point. David has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to co-founding Tri-Point, he worked in energy investment banking, including KeyBanc, Jefferies, ABN AMRO, Prudential Securities and Lehman Brothers. David also served as Chief Financial Officer of two independent exploration and production companies, Aurora Oil & Gas and Sabco Oil & Gas. In addition, he worked for Coopers & Lybrand and is a Certified Public Accountant. David received an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Duke University.

Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Joe Hedges is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Tri-Point. He is responsible for leading the company's global Sales and Marketing efforts, providing a roadmap for future growth opportunities for the business. Joe has 36 years of experience directing sales and business development in products ranging from production equipment, choke control, surface safety systems and artificial lift, to automation and controls. Prior to joining Tri-Point, he served in various leadership roles at Cameron International and Ruelco. Joe earned his degree from University of New Orleans.
Vice President of Business Development
Mike Renick is the Vice President of Business Development at Tri-Point. Mike has over 39 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, serving in a variety of leadership roles. Prior to joining Tri-Point, he was President of Streamline Production Systems, Inc. and owner of Streamline Production Services, Streamline Well Testing, and Rental, and Integrated Pipe and Supply. Before founding Streamline, Mike was the Production Superintendent – Gulf Coast Region for Texas Oil and Gas. Mike invented and holds a patent for a board road mat and a patent for a mobile well testing unit. He also invented and has a patent pending on the Tri-Point Modular Production System.
Vice President of Engineering, Quality & Projects
Jack Smith joined Tri-Point as the Vice President of Engineering where he is responsible for the corporate-wide engineering and quality control governance of all surface production equipment. Jack has worked in the oil and gas industry for 12 years, holding management and staff engineering roles in the Compression Engineering and Technical Services & Analysis groups at Exterran, and most recently as the Director of Engineering at Valerus Compression Services. Prior to joining the oil and gas industry, Jack held management and technical roles at Southwest Research Institute and BorgWarner Turbo Systems with a focus on engine emissions, alternative fuel engine development, model-based control system development and variable geometry turbocharger development. Jack’s technical specialties are in thermodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, and numerical methods. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Mark Sprague is Tri-Point's Vice President of Supply Chain. Mark's team provides purchasing, strategic sourcing, vehicle and equipment leasing, DOT compliance, Production Control and Materials Management support across all of the company's locations. Prior to joining Tri-Point, Mark served as the Director of Global Supply Chain for the Valves & Measurement and Drilling divisions at Cameron. He also worked for Maytag where he held several leadership positions, including Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing. Mark received a BA from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Dan Farmer is the Vice President of Tri-Point's Mid-Con region. With over 25 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience, Dan is focused on transforming operations in the Mid-Con to grow the business and better serve Tri-Point's customers. He has managed and led transformations for the Air Force Material Command Logistics Center, Goodyear, Boeing, and small businesses through the south central Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center for the Southwest Research Institute. Prior to joining Tri-Point, Dan served as the Manufacturing Director for Exterran's PEQ and Process & Treating segments. He holds a BS in Business Management from Newman University and a MSc in Management from Friends University.
Vice President - Rockies
Craig Freking is the Vice President of the Rockies region for Tri-Point. He is currently working through a lean transformation of the business focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost from the customers' lens. Craig has 25 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience, with the last 10 years spent in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Tri-Point, Craig was the Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Weir Oil & Gas, and before that he was the Manufacturing Director for Exterran in both the Process & Treating and Compression businesses. Craig holds a BS in Management Science from St. Cloud State University, in St. Cloud, Minnesota and a MBA from Rollins College, in Winter Park, Florida.
Vice President - East Texas
Ifty Khan is the Vice President of Tri-Point's East Texas region. He has over 30 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Business Process Improvements, having worked in these fields in the U.S. and internationally. Ifty is focused on transforming the company’s East Texas region into a Center of Excellence for Tri-Point’s Modular Production Systems. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Albertus Magnus College in the Netherlands, Management Certification from University of South Carolina, a Business Process Professional Masters from BP group, certified Green Belt and Black Belt, and qualified auditor for Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence.
Chief Information Officer
Dave Upton is the Chief Information Officer of Tri-Point. Dave is responsible for Tri-Point’s technology roadmap, managing IT security, and leads Tri-Point’s internal IT team. Dave has a strong background in IT security, infrastructure and applications, having most recently worked at FloWorks International as the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure. Prior to FloWorks, Dave led the manufacturing and parts distribution IT organization at Gulf States Toyota and managed the global infrastructure team for The Friedkin Group. Dave holds a BS from the University of Alberta and multiple IT certifications.
